Submit info but stay on input form

Hi

I am looking for a solution where a specific user records consecutive results through an input field, submitting each result and receiving a confirmation of the result submitted -  but without leaving the input form.

Let's assume I have one text field for the user identification, one text box to enter numeric data, and e.g. a "submit button" submitting the text box info, verifying that data has been stored and empties the text box for next input.

Anyone having a solution for this?
