tutorial:multiinputapp

In this tutorial we will see how to create forms that have multiple inputs.

You can download the XLSX file for this tutorial here.

In this tutorial we have an XLSX with four calculators , in your case these can be just text from multiple sheets etc.

This is how the Excel file looks

After Uploading This is how the file looks in XLApp.io. Now We edit the Name of the First Input to form to “Menu”

Next we click on “Addtab” to add other Input Forms and we name it “Add”.

Similarly we add other Input Forms called “Subtract” , “Mul” and “Div”

Next we add “Calculator Test” cell to the Menu Input. This will form our Menu page.

Next we select the “Add” Input Form and add the cells corresponding to the Add Calculator to it.

Next we select the “Sub” Input Form and add the cells corresponding to the Subtract Calculator to it.

We repeat the steps for Multiply and Divide calculators.

Next we click on App Settings and select “Menu Bar At the Bottom”.

When we select “Menu Bar At the Bottom” the menu will follow the content in the Menu Page, in this case the menu will appear after “Calculator Test” we have select for the Menu Page. This cell can contain images or other information about the app.

If we select “Menu Bar At the top” then the menu will appear above the content in the Menu Page.

The First Input Page is always the Menu Page.

In this sample we will also set the theme to Black.

Now when we preview the App we will get the menu first. You will see that the Menu Displays links for Input Pages.

When we click on links we will be led to the individual calculators.

Tab UI

In the app settings we can also select “Tab Bar” for tab based UI for Multiple input Pages.

After selecting the “Tab Bar”.

As the Tabs are displayed all the time we can remove the individual calculator labels and we can change the Name of the First Input Form to Home.
